BOOKING CONDITIONS

To make your booking simply contact us biuro@eko-tourist.krakow.pl or complete the online form. We will inform you immediately about available places and answer your questions.

Your booking will be confirmed following the receipt of a fully completed booking form together with a deposit of 100 euro for each person named on the form . The deposit has to be transfered on Eko-Tourist's bank account:
PL75 1750 1048 0000 0000 1103 0351
SWIFT: RCBWPLPW
Raiffeisen Bank
(cost of transfer debit payer)
We can accept payment also in other currencies as: USD, GBP, CHF etc., according to the current rate of exchange.
Booking form can be sent by e-mail, fax, mail etc.
We reserve the right to decline any booking.

You will be invoiced for the balance of the tour cost six weeks before departure. This must be paid by the date specified on the invoice, normally four weeks before departure. Bookings made within four weeks of departure must be accompanied by the full cost of the tour. We reserve the right to cancel your booking if the balance is not paid by the due date.

If you cancel your booking more than six weeks before departure you will lose your deposit. If you cancel a fully paid booking between four and six weeks prior to departure a fifty percent refund will be made. No refund can be made if you cancel within four weeks of the departure date. Notice of cancellation must be in writing.

We will only cancel a confirmed and fully paid booking if forced to do so by uncontrollable events such as war, civil disorder, natural catastrophe or other occurrences which could be construed as 'force majeure'. In these circumstances we will refund all monies paid by you, less a reasonable sum towards administration costs.

Prices given in the individual itineraries show what is included. We will keep to the price we quote to you when your booking is made, unless there are major changes beyond our direct control [such as fuel price rises or adverse exchange rate fluctuations], or where there are less than the minimum number of bookings for a tour six weeks before departure. In either case we reserve the right to increase prices by an amount not exceeding ten percent of the tour cost.

The itineraries we describe will be kept to as closely as possible but are not to be regarded as a contractual obligation on our part. All arrangements are made by us in the knowledge that economic and social circumstances are changing quickly. Occasionally it may be necessary to alter accommodation, meal or other ground arrangements but where this occurs the alternatives will at least maintain the standards applicable for each tour. Itineraries may also be varied slightly in response to the particular interests of groups or to take account of local weather conditions. The final decision on any necessary adjustments to the itinerary will rest with the tour leader[s] and must be respected by the group. It is a condition of booking that you are prepared to be flexible and accept that local conditions may cause alterations to itineraries.

If you have any cause for complaint during a tour you should take up the matter immediately with the tour leader. If it cannot be dealt with at the time or if you are unsatisfied with the response to your complaint then you should write to us within 14 days of your return, outlining full details.

You must be covered by insurance. It is your responsibility to arrange it. Your insurance should cover at least: Medical and Repatriation Expenses, Personal Accident and Personal Liability. We will require a copy of your policy.

The information we provide is true and accurate to the best of our knowledge and is given in good faith. The contract made between Eko-Tourist and the client is to be interpreted and enforced according to Polish Law.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Group Size and Staff. We aim to make your tour as enjoyable and trouble-free as possible by providing English-speaking tour leaders, and for local experts and guides to join you at appropriate points in the itinerary. Tours are restricted to a maximum number of participants, as specified in the itinerary, and we believe that the combination of expertise and small group size will contribute to providing you with a memorable experience.

Visas. Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Baltic Countries are member of European Union and Schengen Agreement. There is no passport nor any other control on the borders between these countries. It is your responsibility to ensure whether you need EU visa or not and eventually obtain visa. In a case of doubt, please contact the nearest embassy or consulate for details of entry requirements.

Health. At the present time there are no vaccination requirements prior to a visit to Poland and other Central European countries. As almost everywhere in Europe you can meet mosquitoes or ticks, so an appropriate repellent would be useful.

Fitness Requirements. The arrangements assume that participants will be in good health. We will be pleased to discuss this aspect with you if you wish.

Accommodation. We aim for atmosphere and comfort rather than luxury, staying in indigenously run hotels and hostels. In more remote areas accommodation is scarce, confined to simple hotels or lodges. Single rooms are occasionally available in hotels, at extra cost.

Food and Meals. Unless specified in the itinerary we will eat most of our meals in restaurants, where local fare will be substantial and wholesome. Where restaurants are unavailable packed lunches will be provided, and on most tours there are occasional special meals and parties. If you have any special dietary requirements please let us know and we will do our best to meet them.

Clothing. Comfortable, casual clothes will be the norm on these tours. Specific needs, such as wet weather protection, will be notified with final departure details.
